What could go wrong?A move into a new direction, with the introduction of a new role, with new unexplored responsabilities in front. The safe part of that story is that I still stay on tech, which is currently my strong points, still doing tasks as a team member. I love to stay connected to the tech part and do not abandon it.Also enjoying contiue working with my team mates.What I still don't know how funny will be, is that unexplored. But we'll find out!If eventually, this does not look like to be a change in the direction I want, it will still be very valuable, so I could feel the difficulties of being a Lead, and being part of the Management in a company. Even more, in a company of the size and pace which is Hotelbeds.But, what if it really becomes something even better than what I had so far? I cannot let that train go ;)

- Looking forward for new challenges and tech trends, being part of the infraestructure as a service team. What do we have here? Some ansible playbooks for infrastructure services, or our Terraform plans to deploy and manage infrastructure states (of tfstates I shoud say).- In terms of leading projects, which is one of my main responsabilities, what did I do lately? I already closed some interesting ones like migrating two whole HA datacenters running Cisco Nexus, Checkpoint and F5 tech for online 24x7 services, or deploying multi-region availability and connectivity in AWS. At the moment I am part of a plan to go multi-cloud with GCP, Azure and/or Alibaba, for service availability.- What am I currently working on? The one I like the most is deploying Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure services. It's absolutely different, you have to forget many things you know to really change your mind about how this works. I'm also involved in a bunch of smaller ones.- What would I do if I could? Spend more time in automation and python.- How do I expect to work in the closest future? Automation, GitOps and containerization are my three pillars.
