The Creative Artworker role consists of managing the packaging for all the FMCG brands and creating various elements to accompany the packaging such as leaflets. POS, posters, advertisements etc. Also liaising with China on print processes and proof approvals as well as QC and the marketing department on any material they may need for their role. As creative artworker at The Dot Factory my role is to assist in creating catalogues and promotional material for both House of Bath products and Davpack. This can range from from direct mail, creating new graphics and brand guidelines for the new season to page layout. I also assist with image retouching and PDF workflow. The job also entails liaising with the client and making sure everything is at a specific standard before going to print.

My role at iCandy is of creative artworker which, involves liaising with all the team at our Head Office on projects such as Information Manuals, Warning Labels, Brochures, POS, Exhibition Panels, advertising, Packaging and any other literature connected with the pushchair industry. One of my key roles is to make sure our manufacturers in China have the right artwork for the right job. The artwork process is overseen from start to finish including the printing process.Other requirements of my job are to retouch any images needed and to oversee any amendments needed for the update of the website. Artwork is also produced in a variety of languages as iCandy is an international company and all these are produced by myself.

I initially worked as a freelancer for a month until i was asked to become full-time. iON Xerox was set up to serve the DWP and to provide them with a one-stop service. This involves producing forms, leaflets and any promotional material needed to supply the department. I also oversee the process from start to finish,including creating interactive PDF’s of certain jobs for intranet purposes.Clients: Department for Work and Pensions, Job Centre Plus, The Pension Service, Disability and Carer’s Service, Pension Disability and Carer’s Service, Child Maintenence Enforcement Commission.

I joined Redcats initially to work on the La Redoute catalogue team, helping to produce the seasons catalogue for the English market as well as any mini catalogues throughout the season.This then led to a position as a Creative Artworker with the Direct Marketing side of the company working accross the three brands within the UK (La Redoute, Vertbaudet and Daxon). As well as artworkwe are required to work on photography shoots and liase with the marketing teams to create the full pack.Clients: La Redoute, Vertbaudet, Daxon.
