- Enhanced the roll-out of a new ERP system by designing and building an API to provide PunchOut and electronic PO capabilities with external vendors. Responsible to the CIO for planning, executing, and trouble-shooting back-office technology projects. - Assisted in the deployment and maintenance of an ASP.NET MVC 3.0 web application developed by an off-shore development team from Vietnam. Wrote automatic deployment scripts for an integrated web service using PowerShell 3.0 and MS SQL Server Management Objects (SMO).- Led an initiative to introduce and promote the adoption of proven software development practices, including coding standards, test-driven development, pair programming, and user stories.- Researched the concepts and principles of HATEOAS and RESTful APIs, and immediately began leveraging that knowledge to successfully develop a number of internal- and external-facing web services, all of which were written in C# using Visual Studio 2012 and WCF.- Primary lead for the development and implementation of a secure token server (STS) based on ThinkTecture’s IdentityServer v2, which enabled single sign-on capability with an external service provider.

Compared the installation and development of code for both iNTERFACEWARE Iguana 5 and Mirth Connect 2 (using Lua and Java, respectively). Designed the tables and wrote stored procedures to connect the code with a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 back-end.- Primary developer responsible for enhancing an existing ASP.NET e-commerce system that was built entirely in-house. Responsible for designing the entire user interface, creating a new database in Microsoft SQL Server 2005, writing and testing the code, and conducting webinars to teach an audience of 250 users about the new application.- Sole developer and business liaison for an internal, web-based survey and form system that was used by thousands of business users from around the world. Wrote and maintained code written in classic ASP (VBScript), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Personally designed and authored all of the content for an online help center. Conducted both individual and classroom training sessions for Nutley-based users, as well as provided all first-level technical support for off-site users via phone and e-mail. - Sole designer and developer for an online, workflow-based contract request system written in classic ASP with a MS SQL Server 2005 back-end. The application successfully reduced administrative effort by over 50% and received less than five support calls over its entire lifecycle (more than 3 years).- Co-developer for the local implementation of a global Microsoft SharePoint 2007 initiative. Developed a back-office program in C# that exposed existing data from legacy systems via RSS. Created web parts that displayed this information, and wrote CSS and XSLT to enhance the look-and-feel.
