Breakthrough Story Coaching is the product of work I have been doing for 20+ years involving creativity, conflict, exoteric studies, and client relationships with their internal and external worlds. Genuinely productive creativity is the result of the natural human connection with the imaginal world of infinite unmanifested possibilities. Plato, Suhrawardy, and mystics from many religions, among others, have written about this Imaginal world.It is possible to cultivate and strengthen this relationship—which is essential for all kinds of creatives (such as writers, painters, and composers), as well as entrepreneurs and difference-makers who want to develop an expansive organizational vision or materialize out-of-the-box opportunities.I use story to help clients work through their blocks and transform their connection with the imaginal world into a loving relationship based on harmony, freedom, balance, self-compassion, and trust in the process. I have found that the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves can stifle our creativity or help open the flow. Real growth, however, demands that we work from within these stories so that the story itself organically leads to change. And we must have a definition that not only describes a story or lists its elements, but also reveals its path and discrete steps. I have evolved in my definition of story and its applications, but the origins of this work are in my book: FREE YOURSELF FROM CONFLICT. This breakthrough process utilizing story is a result of my understanding and wide-ranging practical experience solving conflict—not only among people but also with their environment and circumstances. In addition, my work in the entertainment industry with creatives and their process, as a coach with executives and others, and as a strategic business consultant has provided a dynamic frame. As an ombuds for the County Juvenile Welfare System I coached, facilitated, and mediated constructive solutions in an extensive bureaucracy among difficult people from diverse cultures in traumatic distress with challenging demands. 100 mile commute each way not sustainable for five days per week. Coalition To Advance Prescription Drug Education [Carxe]

The Coalition to Advance Prescription Drug Education [CARxE] was a national not-for-profit helping seniors, families and caregivers make more informed healthcare decisions, particularly for the roll-out of Medicare Part-D. I co-founded the organization, wrote the business plan and raised financing.CARxE conducted studies demonstrating high pricing variations among Medicare drug plans and encouraged seniors to use free web-based tools to identify the lowest cost plan for their drug regimen. The study's findings were released by the National Association of Health Underwriters [NAHU]. The study found that by using online comparison tools, seniors could choose a plan that costs one-third or less than the highest-priced plan. The study also tracked a bundle of seniors' 19 "Most Prescribed" drugs across 24 regions, which provides an approximate index of the broader market variation. For example, study data showed that for the Most Prescribed bundle, there was a 367% difference, or $12,522, in the annual pricing of the highest and lowest-priced plans.CARxE enrolled seniors nationally, securing and training more than 1K volunteers online. The CARxE Gateway was made available with permission from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services [CMS]— which awarded CARxE one of only three U.S. Medicare contracts to directly register seniors online in Part-D Drug Plans. The work was made possible by $1M+ in donations from industry partners. The price comparison and Gateway technology for CARxE were licensed from DestinationRx, Inc., a company that licenses the same technology to CMS for its Plan Finder tool.As a part of its outreach, CARxE initiated and managed community-based programs, including interfaith outreach across the U.S. led by the United Methodist Association, as well as a multi-denominational community outreach in Houston.
