Set HR strategy, programs, and administration for all business units comprising of between 500-2,000 employees in up to 38 states. Member of executive leadership team and strategic business partner to senior leaders. Manage risk and legal compliance, succession planning, talent management, change management, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. Define and update HR policies, procedures, and handbook. Assumed role as in-house general counsel and chief insurance executive procuring and managing all insurance policies, claims, and legal controversies and questions for property & liability insurance as well as all financial lines, and advising leaders on relevant legal issues regarding liability, transactions, and contracts.
