Responsible for the building out of a new Platform Development team. My team is responsible for the design and development of both iOS and Android SDKs that can be used at scale with existing media streaming applications with millions of subscribers.

Worked on pivoting the company from a Printer company, to an enterprise SAAS model. In less than a year, my team designed and released a scalable, automated, real-time messaging platform, heavily focused on SMS, from the ground up. Doing this allowed the business to rapidly expand into more verticals, increase our customer base, and our ACV. We also produced an industry leading API and iOS SDK. Zingle has now texted with roughly 1% of all mobile phones in the US, and is the global messaging standard for many hotel brands. In addition to software changes, I implemented the required process and structure for building a new agile development environment, to increase product quality, and obtain a higher level of release predictability.

Started with Skinit since its early inception; 7 years of leading the software engineering department. In addition to managing the customer facing e-commerce website (skinit.com), my team built large-scale on-demand manufacturing solutions which were licensed to fortune 500 partners. My client services team worked closely with partners including 3M, HP, Dell, Verizon, Disney, T-Mobile, Sprint, Walmart, Best Buy, AT&T, Yahoo, Snapfish, and Marlboro. During this time I invented and patented new methods for web-to-print automation. Also was key in starting a new factory out of China, which involved custom software to receive EDI orders, track inventory, automate production, and track orders through ERP.
