He was connected to SMEs through Caixa Geral de Depósitos, largest Portuguese bank, for 8 years. During this time, he also completed a postgraduation in Banking Business and had the opportunity to be involved in a CGD international project, while living abroad in Luxembourg.He is an advocate for management, entrepreneurship, and innovation, favoring Lean processes and blending strategy with technology. Believing that teams built on trust can make a difference in any context, he founded Ympec and Yourdata, in 2015 - startups focused on Business Intelligence and Analytics. While Ympec has a web platform that turns accounting data into actionable insights for any SME, Yourdata, after working along with SME and partnered with some of the most important consultancy companies in Portugal, was acquired by Metyis, a global, forward-thinking firm that develops and delivers AI & Data, Digital Commerce, Marketing and Design solutions, and provides Advisory services, based in Amsterdam.
