Although the definition of a geek could have my picture beside it, I believe I bring a lot more to the table.I love challenging myself both physically and mentally. I am constantly pushing boundaries competing in a Tough Mudder competition, trying to bench press more than the guy next to me - pretty bad ass I know - but I also was a 2nd place finisher in databases at CS Games 2015, am an avid fan of Batman and Marvel, and enjoy passing the time with a variety of video games.You know that question that you get asked sometimes, the "​what gets you up in the morning?"​ Well the sarcastic part of me wants to say my alarm clock but really its my love for computer science. I love coding. I love learning about it and I love teaching what I already know. The look on a persons face when they finally got it, that is why I want to teach, I want to be the reason why a student falls in love with computer science.I am very passionate about what i do and I want to share that passion with others. I want to teach kids that computers are much more than just Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I want them to see what's underneath because that's a lesson we should all know, don't judge a person on the surface until you see what's underneath.
