As a member of the Platform Business Development team at AWS, I focused on compute-related solutions including EC2 Spot, High Performance Computing (HPC), and hardware accelerated computing using FPGAs and GPUs. Impulse developed and distributed software-to-hardware compiler and verification tools as well as providing FPGA design services for embedded and high performance computing. Impulse products are used in applications that include automotive, medical imaging, bioinformatics, video processing, digital signal processing, national security, finance, and other.

CODONiS provided computational biology cloud services and genomic data storage for improving human health, as well as healthcare IT virtualization and compliant, on-demand computing.

Pico Computing specialized in hardware computing platforms based on Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Pico products include FPGA accelerator cards and rack-mounted FPGA computing clusters. Applications for Pico Computing technologies include accelerated cryptography, signal processing, bioinformatics and genomics, and scientific computing.

I have published five books as a Prentice Hall author, including Practical FPGA Programming in C, Practical Design Using Programmable Logic, and VHDL Made Easy.
