About David Pere Martínez Oró
Doctor en Psicología Social (2013). Máster en Investigación en Psicología Social (2007). Licenciado en Psicología (2006) por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Curso de especialización en investigación cualitativa en el ámbito de las drogas por la Universidad de Ámsterdam (2008).Desde julio de 2015 soy director técnico en Episteme Investigación e intervención social. Desde octubre de 2014 coordino la Unidad de Políticas de Drogas de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Desde febrero 2008 ejerzo de profesor en la Universidad Oberta de Cataluña. Mis temas de investigación son la normalización de los consumos de drogas, la dimensión sociocultural del cannabis y la cocaína, el papel de las familias en la prevención de prácticas de riesgo, el consumo de opioides, las TIC, las adicciones comportamentales y las apuestas deportivas.En 2004 empecé a trabajar en el ámbito de las drogodependencias como equipo de investigación en el Observatorio de Nuevos Consumos de Drogas en el Ámbito juvenil de Catalunya, proyecto de investigación etnográfica. En 2006 pasé a coordinar dicho Observatorio y también el Sistema de Información Continua sobre los consumos de drogas en Castilla La Mancha. En 2008 fui nombrado director de ambos programas. En 2010 implementamos este sistema de investigación en la Comunidad Valenciana. Estas experiencias me permitieron solidificar mi formación en Ciencias Sociales, especialmente en Antropología, Sociología y Ciencias Políticas. De 2010 a 2014 trabajé en la Subdirección general de Drogodependencias (Generalidad de Cataluña). Realicé tareas de investigación y evaluación de proyectos. De 2008 a 2015 fui director del Departamento de Investigación de la Fundación IGenus. He realizado más de treinta investigaciones y avaluaciones en el sector de las drogas por encargo o con el apoyo de diferentes administraciones, entre ellas el Plan Nacional sobre Drogas. He publicado trece libros. Editor académico de dos manuales. Autor de múltiples informes técnicos y artículos tanto científicos como divulgativos. Colaborador habitual en los medios de comunicación. He impartido conferencias y formaciones para entidades, sociedades científicas, universidades y en congresos. He asesorado entidades, plataformas y federaciones.Conozco el tercer sector, el trabajo preventivo, el ámbito asistencial y los equipos de investigación dedicados a las drogodependencias. Domino a la perfección las técnicas de investigación tanto cualitativas como cuantitativas, los métodos de análisis y empleo un estilo de escriptura claro a la vez que teóricamente robusto.
