Appen is a world leader in delivering data for voice recognition software and other machine learning devices. My role at Appen involved supporting production teams across various data collection projects. I was also involved with the supervision of local and remote recordings, and responsible for quality assurance checks of audio data.

Prepararing and engineering promotional content for voice over recording and post production mixing, while observing tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. Worked with high quality voice over artists to achieve successful creative performances within voice over records. Increased familiarity and speed with Pro Tools HD, Digidesign Icon D-Control, Waves and other VST plugin packages.

Sound design and mixing for various agencies across multiple platforms. The opportunity to work with Reach Out in creating podcasts was a highlight, requiring the use of sound design to deliver a dramatic narrative. Working with the reators of children's animation 'Bottersnikes and Gumbles' was also a fantastic experience.
