Leverages systemic instructional design models to design and implement human performance improvement interventions; utilizes industry-standard human performance improvement analysis and measurement strategies to determine training ROI and effectiveness; meets with all Service-related members to collect feedback about training gaps or improvement needed.

Trains students, at all levels, both costomers, and Tokyo Electron field engineers, to operate, maintain, and repair furnaces and plasma-based reactive ion etchers, critical to the manufacturing of semiconductors. Formal classroom and on-site instruction also includes courses in workmanship standards and analytical troubleshooting, utilizing CTT+ standards. Students must gain a proficient understanding in all areas of tool theory, maintenance and troubleshooting, to match the exacting standards required by the complexity of the equipment. Understanding of basic electronics, vacuum theory, software, RF theory, pneumatics, motors, robot teaching, mechanics, ergonomics, safety, as well as hand tool usage, are essential.
