Created and expanded the North Kansas City Schools (NKCS) Catalyst Program, which identifies and supports high-performing, historically underrepresented students to attend and graduate from the nation’s most selective colleges. Design a viable program model for the district’s four high schools. Regularly report updates to the District Board of Education. Used Excel and SQL to mine the National College Database (NCES) to create the Catalyst College Target Database of best universities to provide generous financial and academic support to low-income, college-bound students. Used statistical models in R to establish key success indicators from the district student database to identify and recruit prospective Catalyst Scholars. Train and develop teachers and counselors district-wide in best practices to maximize college participation for lower-income students. Leverage automation and school-site data to drive targeted engagement campaigns, presenting to thousands of prospective students, families, and community stakeholders to increase program visibility and enrollment. Successfully enrolled inaugural student cohorts into Catalyst Program, exceeding enrollment targets by over 10% Develop the Catalyst 3-Year Master Curriculum as the central blueprint for the program’s development sequence. Directly impacted students in Catalyst Program to earn over $2.5 million in total scholarships and grants (an average of over $70,000 per student)
