I am a resourceful and ambitious individual who has demonstrated first rate people and management skills throughout my career to date. I thrive in challenging situations, as evidenced by my ability to manage a business while in my early twenties, and willingness and ability to master a foreign language in a country of which I had no previous experience or knowledge.I graduated in the UK with an Honours Degree in Economics in 2008 and a post-graduation in Accounting in 2011.Having moved from Belfast to London, I progressed to become General Manager of a successful events venue, hosting many high profile acts from the entertainment industry. In 2013 I left London to pursue a career and life in São Paulo where I studied Portuguese at FAAP university. I initially taught English to Brazilian Nationals and in 2014 set up my own company, offering translation and consulting services to Brazilian and multinational companies.Given the business and language skills I have acquired, I feel that now is the right time to seek a position in general/operations management within a commercial enterprise. As an effective and proven manager with excellent communication skills, I am confident that I will be an asset to any business. It is also my intention to commence an MBA as soon as possible as I regard this as the premier all-round business qualification which will enable me to further my career.
