I learned how to talk to my clients about technology and communicate with them about their needs when it comes to building a new system or incorporating new technology into their workflow.

Was the first responder for any technical support call for the department. Common issues involved malfunctioning printers, file recovery, virus removal, and hardware troubleshooting. This was a position that relied heavily on time management skills as some days 10 to 15 new calls would come in and I would be the only one available to respond. I had to assess each call based on urgency, location, and the time that the fix would take, and then constantly schedule and reschedule my day to be as efficient as possible. I also learned how to communicate ceaselessly with my clients in order to keep them in the loop on the status of their ticket.
