As Senior Associate, I managed three different projects concurrently to replace over $10 million dollars of plant equipment (feedwater heaters and service water pumps). I was also assigned to lead two fast paced modifications that resulted in millions of dollars in savings for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (Heater Drain Leak Repair and Turbine Building Valve Gallery Crane Installation). As the go-to engineer for high profile projects, I spent some time in this role grooming younger engineers for these types of high profile projects.- Prepared multidiscipline proposals and project work plans which include scoping, man-hour estimates, and scheduling tasks- Replaced 12 two staged vertical pumps within approved 10,000 man-hour budget and schedule- Collaborated with subject matter experts to resolve wall thinning issues on feedwater heater shells caused by flow accelerated corrosion- Specified and procured 9 replacement feedwater heater tube bundles-Spearheaded a team of 5 people to design and install a bypass around degrading pipe in two weeks (failure of the pipe before the bypass was installed would have resulted in $1 million in lost revenue each day until the bypass was installed)- Coordinated tasks and budget across all disciplines to complete the design package for a new 7.5 ton crane in 6 months saving the plant 5 days of outage critical path time
