With Open Hearts Open Minds, I work with currently and formerly incarcerated men at Columbia River Correctional Institution. Our program Outta Sight Outta Mind Music, aims to build community across prison walls. I help people become artists and valued community members by creating and upholding safe, equitable, healing environments for people to share their stories and music amongst one another and connect with the world.My primary job duties here include administrative data entry & scheduling, post production audio mixing, in-studio recording engineer, and graphic design.

Here, I worked at The Numberz.FM, Portland's Black Radio Station for 3 years starting on an internship program, and then to employee of the organization as the Department Lead for clothing brand, NumzBODEGA. I did a variety of work with this non-profit and truly honed in on my skills of adaptability and adept learning as a result. Notably my work included project & event management, multimedia productions, website design, art gallery & retail space development, and social media marketing management.Professional highlights from this job include, Production Services for the launch of The Numberz.FM Podcast Network, Youth AV Camp Instructor for Sightz & Soundz, Art Gallery Developer & Retail Associate at The Numberz Bodega in the Portland Art Museum, and Event Producer for Black Podcast Festival.This job provided me with substantial growth personally and professionally and I am so blessed to have been in community with incredibly talented, passionate, authentic artists and organizations.
