David Petty was most recently running partnerships and channels for Exterro. David has been active in the cyber security, eDiscovery and system integration community for the last 20 years. Prior to joining Exterro he was at OpenText and prior to that David was SVP Commercial Sales at Nuix where he lead the team that added 140 of the fortune 500 and Global 1000 to the customer base in three years. Prior to this he was head of Worldwide Channels at Systech, X1, Damballa and spent close to a decade at Guidance Software as a Sales VP in various roles. While at Guidance, he launched the Enterprise product line, ran all computer forensic business for several years and led efforts in international markets on a worldwide basis. David opened offices for Guidance Software in London, São Paulo, Mexico City, Singapore and Tokyo. Throughout his career, David has received a number of industry credentials which include: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), EnCase® Certified Examiner (EnCE®), CCNP Cisco Certified Networking Professional and GSEC.He has also held positions at Symantec and Axxent where he focused on business development in the enterprise space. David earned a Masters of Science in Cyber Security from Fordham University.
