Serves as the administrative head of the School of Education; makes appropriate recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs regarding courses, faculty assignments, annual school budget, annual report, annual evaluation of faculty performances, and other school activities; coordinates and supervises activities of the various disciplines within the school, working directly with Chairs and faculty; makes recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs for implementing, updating, and improving the curriculum within the School; provides leadership in the areas of faculty in-service training, scholarship, educational experiences, professional service to the community, academic advising, and faculty recruitment.

Led the development of a strategic plan, CARE Fund and two new programs addressing teacher shortage needs of local school districts; developed, planned, and implemented strategies for recruitment, retention, and progression for teacher preparation.

Taught 4:4 course load in a variety of undergraduate courses focused on Early Childhood Special Education; supervised 50+ practicum students, served on various committees while engaged in service, research, and scholarly activities.
