By delivering extensive coaching, mentoring, and leadership, I was able to bring harmony to a distributed sales organization while developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for the 10 divisions across North and Central America. Highlighted by:> Launched a centralized re-marketing team. Mobilicity was a startup wireless carrier and I quarterbacked the effective performance of the sales team by establishing and implementing strategies and support operations to increase sales productivity. Also was responsible for the negotiation and execution of aggressive channel expansion and acquisition plans, design and delivery initial and on-going training, and the creation and reporting of all KPIs. Highlights included:> Built out a retail network in five markets, growing to 400 locations in multiple channels> Owned the retail client experience; raising satisfaction levels 30 points across the network> Created an environment that facilitated the launch and installation of major integrated marketing programs in a three-week window.

Bell Mobility is an established wireless carrier, part of Canada’s oldest telecom provider. In this role, I owned and directed the operations of all of the company’s self-serve channels in the Consumer segment, including online/web, IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition), and on-device …in total, more than 60 million conversations with 4.5 million customers per year. Also led an inbound contact center sales team. Highlights included:> Introduced the industry’s first e-billing platform.> Increased awareness of the online self-serve capabilities with usage climbing to 14 touch points per client per year, while significantly reducing the dependence on traditional costly-heavy channels.> Delivered the top three monthly sales results in department history.

I led a two-year, corporate-wide initiative to improve the in-store customer service. By challenging policies, building technology-based solutions and redesigning the sales processes, the project successfully reduced the throughput times by more than 50%, on time and on budget.> Executed extensive change management inclusive of employee training and robust communications, driven by proficient project management> Customer satisfaction and sales effectiveness increased> Was profiled in the Bell Enterprises 2005 Annual Report.

The Director of Channel Compensation was a Finance role charged with calculating and delivering the variable compensation paid to more than 1,600 Bell World retail channel and corporate stores. > By strategically combining multiple teams and streamlining processes, I was able to reduce the payment delivery cycle 25% while also achieving $1M in annual savings.> Employee satisfaction increased from 56% to 92% during my tenure (75% of the team was unionized)

Managed and motivated a finance team, partnered with the business, to develop a highly competitive and knowledgeable wireless Dealer and Corporate store network, comprised of 300 retail locations generating close to $1B in revenue.

Controlled all financial aspects of the business units(1996 - furniture division = $450M in annual sales; 1995 - menswear division = $330M) including:> the development of net sales and gross profit plans.> build out and maintenance of OPEX and inventory turn plans for both channels (retail and catalogue).> collaborated with Buyers in developing vendor negotiation strategies (analysis, selection, costing).
