Managed a budget of up to $20 million for the track component of the construction works. - Planned and delivered the construction of the new Kiama Down Car Sidings which involved bulk earthworks and track build of 200m. - Plan and delivered the installation of 3x new VeloSTRAIL pads on the Sydney Trains network (Bellambi, Dapto and Clarendon).- Lead numerous track remediation and maintenance works including: CWR, Re-railing, replating.

The Bathurst & Tamworth Routine Maintenance Team is responsible for the maintenance of the following corridors: Lithgow (Bowenfels) to Stuart Town (Main West Line), Wallerawang to Charbon (Wallerawang Branch Line), Orange to Parkes (Broken Hill Line) and Werris Creek to Armidale (Main North Line).Responsibilities:- Demonstrated excellent team work skills through working with the track superintendent, supervisors, maintainers and the projects team to ensure the correct placement of Temporary Speed Restriction (TSR) boards on track subsequently leading to the accurate reporting of TSR for the Bathurst and Tamworth regions on a weekly basis.- Exhibited a strong attention to detail from managing the Welded Track Stability Analysis (WTSA) summer track defects through ensuring all existing and arising defects have a rectification plan and provide accurate weekly defect reporting to the Civil Maintenance Engineer and Principal Track Engineer for the Bathurst and Tamworth regions.- Follow quality assurance and checks from reviewing track asset inspection forms and ensuring any errors are corrected before the forms are filed away and ensuring Network Controller and Incident Reports are completed correctly by team members before they are reviewed by the Track Manager and distributed to the wider business.- Developed a strong focus on safety by undertaking a safety leadership and maintenance assurance inspection each month.- Displayed excellent written communication skills through drafting up project scopes for rerailing and concrete resleepering, rail production grinding and level crossing maintenance works.- Developed and collated ballasting scope for the ballast train for Bathurst and Tamworth areas.- Developed and collated the corrective and preventative grinding scope to be undertaken by the rail grinding machines for the Bathurst region.

The Country Regional Network (CRN) is owned by Transport for NSW and is operated and maintained by John Holland Rail (JHR) who is the rail infrastructure manager under a 10-year contract that commenced in January 2012. The CRN links broad areas of regional NSW to interstate and metropolitan rail systems and in addition supports, customers transporting coal, grain, cotton, minerals and containerized freight to domestic and export markets. The network covers 2386 route kilometres of operational passenger and freight rail lines and 3139 route kilometres of non-operational lines. Responsibilities:- Developing ongoing project and operational experience through managing the annual maintenance geotechnical examinations across the CRN which involve; engaging and managing contractors and plant for site visits, maintaining the database based on the findings and preparing asset condition reports.- Provide support to the maintenance engineers cross the CRN with Welded Track Stability Analysis (WTSA) through data entry and collating the weekly reports for the Civil Maintenance Engineer (CME). - Demonstrated the ability to show a strong attention to detail in assisting the CME in progressing draft reports and design drawings to final or IFC (Issued for Construction) documentation as part of a geotechnical design project to mitigate the risk of high risk cutting and embankments across the network.- Manage the weekly Temporary Speed Restrictions (TSR) reports for network including the Bathurst, Tamworth, Dubbo and West Wyalong regions.Achievements:- Oversaw the geotechnical investigation and sampling works conducted at the historical Bathurst Station Platform during the Main West shutdown in preparation for a feasibility study for full reconditioning works through the platform. Two days were allocated for the works however through providing the contractors with appropriate resourcing meant the works were completed in one day only.
