I am a Partner and Head of the Commercial Department at Hayes solicitorsI advise clients on a wide range of commercial law issues and represent clients in commercial disputes. I have expertise in advising on general corporate and commercial matters and in particular in the manufacturing and retail sectors, and also advise on regulatory matters. I have considerable experience in dealing with competition law issues and have represented many businesses and individuals in Competition Authority investigations and criminal prosecutions. I also have extensive experience in advising on intellectual property right issues. I lecture on these areas and work closely with clients in providing training to their personnel. I am a former member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the Law Society, and of the Business Law Committee of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association. I am also a registered trade mark agent and am a founding committee member of the Health & Safety Lawyers Association of Ireland. I was previously a member of the Business Opportunities Task Force of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
