An accomplished programmer with more than 20 years of experience within the group benefits industry, David has built a reputation for being able to 'speak both languages' - to understand both complex technological processes as well as the peculiarities of the administration of employee benefits.Following 5 years of service with one of Canada's most distinguished infantry regiments, David formalized his life long interest in computers in the middle of the dot com explosion, leading to a specialization in web and internet technologies. In 2001, David relocated from Toronto to Vancouver and joined Heath Benefits Consulting, starting a path with multiple firms in the employee benefit sector that culminated in the conception and creation of the Bridge benefits administration system. As President of Bridge IT Services, David is keen to present third party administrators, group benefit firms and insurance brokerages with a web based, easy to use platform that enables them to provide an enhanced experience to their clients.
