Significant engineering management & capital project/program management experience in dairy, food and FMCGI have a depth and breath of experience over 25 years that spans the following areas: Production/Operations Management, Change Management, Project Engineering, Strategic Program Management, Capital Project Management, Reliability Engineering and Continuous Improvement within FMCG, food and specifically dairy foods industries.I have proven abilities to lead, motivate and develop teams throughout my operational and project/engineering/reliability roles with both direct and non-direct reports and stakeholders.I am strategically and commercially minded coupled with financial acumen and an ability to engage at all levels to drive change and continuous improvement.I have an ability to integrate operations, engineering and reliability to ensure there is a systemic and systematic process and approach to achieve real results that comes from experience in each area.I've directly managed or managed others or a team with projects ranging from $20k to $200 million including managing cross functional teams with overall business responsibility to develop and submit strategic business cases.My previous role (Engineering Lead) at The Heritage, Tasmania has lead me to be directly involved in the major world class $200 million capital ‘Project Frost’ with 4-5 contractor/consultant & direct reports with the consolidation/closure of 4-5 cheese plants. I was directly responsible from concept design and business case writing through to procurement phases of the project that transitioned to the process engineering lead during the later execution phases of the project. Therefore, I have a deep understanding of what it takes to have best practice and successfully lead and project manage a highly complex project and engage/influence stakeholders throughout the supply chain.
