Working part of the M&S Energy Project on behalf of Scottish & Southern Energy PLC. The M&S Energy project was based in Marks & Spencer's stores across Scotland promoting energy packages to customers & also advising customers on how to reduce their energy consumption within their own homes. My main part of this role was to stop & engage with customers in M&S & inform them of the new project that M&S had become a part of to help their customers save money on their energy bills, reduce consumption & also provide renewable energy for all their customers from the Hydro. In store, I was able to give customers comparisons against their current energy package to see if they would make savings on their energy tariffs whilst providing high levels of customer service which is expected in M&S.

Handepay Merchant Services is a fast growing company that specialises in providing lowcost debit & credit card processing services to small, medium & large sized businesses throughout the UK. As a Field Sales executive for Handepay Merchant Services, I was tasked with going out to local businesses to promote the benefits & demonstrate the savings of switching their merchant services provider to Handepay. This involved a lot of cold calling to businesses however I have the ability to quickly build rapport with business owners & company directors which allowed me to do this efficiently.

My role as a District Sales Manager for SSE Plc was to canvass & visit customers in their own home to promote a number of different services that SSE offered which included; Gas & Electricity supply, boiler cover, Electrical wiring cover, Telephone & broadband services. I was tasked with visiting new and existing customers without pre-booked appointments to inform customers of what services we offered & inform them of company promotions we offered too. The company maintained this approach as they did not pay to advertise so that the district managers could have a much more personal approach with customers & gave us the opportunity to sit & talk through the services to ensure they were right for the customer.
