Main Responsibilities:Manage the delivery of a CRM Proof of Value to sections of TSB Bank to ascertain value of the product to the whole bank. Managed from the requirements stage with the project team through to UAT and end user training. This involved working closely with the business owner, sponsor and vendor to keep within scope and budgets. Main Responsibilities:I lead a team of up to 27 direct reports, plus contractors, to deliver on strategic project initiatives and support BAU activities including production support and planned maintenance and improvement within the Business Technology division for Sovereign. Projects are largely IT projects and some business change and I currently manage resourcing for more than 10 projects.Technology Platforms:The technology I'm involved with is our main policy admin systems, CRM, claims and underwriting applications, but not exclusive to this. I own the resourcing for all projects that range from Regulatory to Product releases to market to other internal enhancements e.g. migration to Windows 7. This covers every area of Business Technology as well as ensuring we have the necessary resourcing across all areas of the business to ensure that we meet our go live deadlines.Staff Management:My other key responsibilities involve performance management, staff development through development planning and in setting of objectives and tracking those regularly through 1:1's and half yearly performance reviews. The team is diverse, consisting of Business Analysts, Junior and Senior Developers and Senior Testers and I drive and support increases in capability across the board. Resourcing and Recruitment:I’m responsible for resourcing contract positions across all types of work. Within this arena I recruit both permanent and contract professionals to assist with delivery. I follow the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from identification of resource requirements to on-boarding them through the induction process. I’m accountable for managing many key stakeholder relationships, within business units at Sovereign. I manage existing relationships with strategic partners, and engage with new vendors to ensure that we have the best choice of resources available to the department. Also part of this is in understanding the current market and where it's heading.
Data Analysis And Logistics
I undertook data analysis after the introduction of SAP I ensured I managed a large workload of errors on fuel trips. Utilising analysis of paperwork, Yard and Win DMS and ensuring this was correct on SAP.My role ensured that we made up for millions of dollars in missing fuel trips and allowed BP to invoice customers. I was personally responsible for every BP in the South Island for invoicing correctly using the SAP system.I left due to 6 month contract finishing and impending travel.
