My cyber security journey started in the USAF. I was a system administrator on a war planning system, patching the OS, applications, and monitoring for unauthorized access. Then I was part of the USAF's 1st Information Warfare Squadron, monitoring for attacks against assets assigned to USCENTCOM. After leaving the military, I taught Network Security/ TCPIP/ VPN and Network Fundamental classes for Global Knowledge. Then moving to Symantec where I have been for the last 24 years.The Enterprise Security Group represents Broadcom’s innovative portfolio of Symantec and Carbon Black solutions for Information, Network, Endpoint, and Application Security. The Enterprise Security Group delivers multi-cloud, hybrid cybersecurity to the largest, most complex and highly regulated enterprises. Outside of the office, you will find me with family and friends, riding my motorcycle or traveling to the Smoky Mountains or the Myrtle Beach area.
