As Former Director of Investments for First Bank, I was responsible for supervising our team of portfolio managers, setting investment policy for Wealth Management, marketing our investment process to prospects, and maintaining strong compliance controls within investments. In addition, I’m responsible for a number of key client relationships, both in the Midwest and in California. Recruited, hired and trained new analysts. Represented the firm in TV, radio and newspaper interviews. Monitored compliance-related issues. Made presentations to internal portfolio managers and to potential and existing clients. Assisted in shaping asset allocation and investment strategies for clients.Senior Equity Analyst:Responsible for the retail and restaurant industries, providing investment recommendations to portfolio managers and clients. Analyzed industry trends using the "Porter Factors". Conducted extensive field research. Prepared financial models, which included 5-year forecasts of earnings, cash flow, and balance sheet data.
