David committed to the growth of AECOM Roanoke through university outreach, implementing business development strategies and professional recruitment. While the growth of the global AECOM network has surged beyond expectations, the office of AECOM in Roanoke has captured both the optimism and aspirations of AECOM: facing today's challenges with innovative and timeless solutions.In 2018 and 2019, David served as the senior lead architect for the F-15QA Bed Down Program, a collaboration of over 15 global AECOM offices providing full A/E services for an overseas client for over 40 facilities on a single site. Beyond master planning, AECOM provided facility designs for squadron and operations headquarters, training facilities, housing, worship and dining facilities, and maintenance, munitions and airfield facilities, totaling over 2.4 M square feet of occupied space. David worked daily with his studio colleagues in Roanoke, Northern Virginia, Maryland and remote offices to inspire and organize a leadership structure of over 200 design team members of architects, planners, engineers and subject matter experts toward the common goal of design excellence, timely delivery of documents, and the success of the mission.
