After completing a PhD. in Dairy Nutrition at Michigan State I worked for 12 years in the feed business with Cargill. Since early 1998 I have been working as a Private Dairy Consultant. My business focus is to provide service to my clients separate from the purchase of the feed, this enables clients to bid out the feed mixes to feed suppliers in order to provide more competitive feed purchase options.There are two ways to make a profit 1) increase revenue and 2) decrease cost. The aim of this business is to provide clients with both options to maximize profitability.My experience and education provides a solid foundation to troubleshoot problems on dairies and to ask the right questions to discern cause and effect.
