After acquiring A4 Healthcare, the combined companies have revenue of $300MM and market cap of $1.0B in 2006. As a senior executive and a member of Executive Management Council (EMG) at Allscripts, my primary focus is developing Electronic Prescription business. Other responsibilities included developing the company’s Patient Health Record (PHR) product in joint venture with Medem, developing the company’s Clinical Trial initiative with Advanced Clinical Solutions and developing new Electronic Prescription standards with the sponsorship from CMS, industry consortium and various business partners.

Funded by GTCR, Golder Rauner in 1999, Park City Solutions is a leading provider of healthcare information technology interoperability and connectivity solutions, serving the U.S. commercial provider market and the Military Heath Services of the Department of Defense. The award winning emPOWERnetTM product suite provides a unified, Single Sign On platform for interconnecting disparate and distributed clinical applications across the patient’s continuum of care. The product is ranked by KLAS as the top leading solution in the Enterprise Clinical Interoperability and Connectivity market. David provided senior product management and product delivery responsibilities. Park City Solutions was acquired by Medicity, Inc. in 2005.

The company was founded with the vision of connecting, integrating and transforming disparate healthcare legacy systems and providing physician access to patient data in real-time securely over the Internet and mobile platforms. David operated the business with P/L responsibility for 3 years with consecutive growing revenue and positive EBITDA. Customer base expanded from 1 to 25 healthcare inistitutions including the largest health system and IDN in Chicago area. R&D was funded 100% by operating cash flow. The company was acquired by GTCR Golder Rauner in 2002 and merged its operation with GTCR portfolio company Park City Solutions.
