The Cranston Department of Senior Services provides comprehensive services to all Cranston Seniors and their families. Our programs assist, inform, entertain, and enrich the lives of individuals fifty-five years of age and older. Our nationally recognized and accredited department, which is comprised of six divisions, aims to enhance the quality of life for Cranston's older adults. Seniors from other communities are welcome to participate in all programs and services offered at the Center.

Report to the Director of Administration and the Mayor’s Office, consistently providing leadership, training and overall supervision and administration of 32 employees and 3 college interns in a municipal department comprised of six Divisions: Adult Day Services, Transvan, Programs, Social Services, Nutrition and Retired Senior and Volunteer Program.•Executive and Creative Director for both the statewide 55 + No Limits Cable Show and the Center’s Social Media Strategic ongoing campaign.•Developed and launched the first Senior Services interactive mobile application in the State of Rhode Island for IOS App Store (Apple), Google Play (Android), and Windows phones called Cranston Senior.•Manage a membership of 1,000 and a daily flow of 200 to 300 participants.•Secured a bilingual staff of 3, trained in Spanish and English.•Charged with analyzing needs of growing senior demographic and implementing and promoting innovative programs and services through statewide collaborations, research and outreach. Develop and manage department budget of over $3.2 million.•General contractor for securing and managing multiple major renovations on Center property.•Responsible for updating all the furniture around the Center including all the tables and chairs in the Dining Room, which seats 260 participants.•Host of the New Hope Art Gallery, displayed at the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center, in support of the art community in the State of Rhode Island. Developed evening programing such as the Opera Nights series and Open Gallery Nights by the New Hope Art Gallery.•Director of all logistics and marketing associated with annual Senior Games, drawing over 900 participants regionally. Responsible for the supervision of more than 6 grants at the Federal and State levels.•Have a seat on the 3 Advisory Boards that provide leadership and fundraising opportunities to the Center. Cranston Senior Enrichment Advisory Board, Adult Day Services Advisory Board, and the RSVP Advisory Board.

Customer Service Specialist, Interpreter and Translator (Spanish/English) and Social Media Manager.

Responsible for all Food and Beverage operations of one of the most exclusive Private Clubs in the world.
