As a Research and Technology Engineer, my job was to investigate technologies and create new product concepts within the 'Safran Cabin' product range.With a speciality in industrial design, my primary focus in the 'Cabin Alkmaar' R&T team was to create new product designs which empower Safran to develop new products for the latest generation of aircraft. I worked on concepts in collaboration with Airbus on the A320neo and A321LR platforms, including catering facilities and lower deck sleeper modules, as well as other special monuments such as rest environments and stowages.

Following the completion of my master degree, I continued to pursue my interest in aircraft interior equipment design. I became a member of the 'Research and Technology' team at Zodiac Alkmaar just prior to the companies acquisition and rebranding under the new 'Safran Cabin' entity.

During my time at TU Delft, I was eager to gain experience in a product design agency. FLEX primarily design packaging for consumer goods and have versatile experience in the industry.Working as a Summer intern I was given various design related tasks to complete and worked in a team of highly skilled and experienced designers. Projects were based on consumer goods and packaging for both Dutch and international companies such as InBev, Becel and Douwe Egberts.

Limerick

As part of the University of Limerick co-op program, I worked as a designer at a patent based design start-up in Limerick.Allied Patent worked with universities, independent businesses and really anyone with an idea for a product they wish to pursue further by first securing sufficient intellectual property. My role at APRD was to create design visions for patent-able ideas. This offered patent seekers more clarity regarding their products potential use scenarios and features as well as explanatory graphics and imagery to bolster their idea.
