CurrentAs part of the Core Engineering team, test, develop and verify distributed, highly-available and scalable mission-critical RESTful microservice API gateways, responsible for authorizing, routing and accounting well over two million requests per minute.Greenfield migration of these services from AWS into IBM Cloud Kubernetes, building a core, common, generic, extensible and customizable Groovy CI/CD Jenkins pipeline library for business units and teams to facilitate fully automated service deployments within ICKS. Provision, configure and verify distributed, scalable, highly-available, fault tolerant Cloud Kubernetes infrastructure to support and integrate team's services backed by Postgres and Cassandra stores.Performance, load and stress testing using Gatling, to verify infrastructure and services' fault tolerance and scalabilty, as well as to optimize service container's JVM.Functional verification of APIs providing forecast and historical weather, climate, alert, location and lifestyle data to global clients such as Google, Samsung, Apple, IBM, and The Weather Company flagship mobile and web apps; built with Java, Spring, Redis, RabbitMQ, Riak, Cassandra, JSON/XML.Pre and Post Release activities and support through analysis of regression tests and risk, release verification, providing release readiness status for ground-breaking, ultra-low latency services.Managed continuous integration and agile delivery of functional tests using an in-house automation framework written in Java, leveraging Eclipse/IntelliJ, Apache HTTP Client, TestNG, Gradle, Git, Jenkins, Cassandra, Scala, Chef, Terraform, Docker and AWS.Collaborated closely with Sr. Systems Architect, Sr Engineers and Release Managers.
