I am a software engineer and data science graduate, currently focusing on independent freelance development work, but also looking for opportunities in open source and math-and-data-oriented research.My projects as an independent contractor have included full-stack development work with impactmarkets.io, a group working on the exciting emerging technology known as Impact Markets, as well as freelancing on Upwork.com where my work has included projects ranging from webscraping, to desktop GUI development with OpenGL, to parsing of abstract syntax trees for a novel application.In industry, I was most recently a Software Engineer at Google in Kirkland, WA, working in the Security and Privacy organization of Google Cloud.While working at Google, I completed the MIDS (Master of Information and Data Science) program from UC Berkeley.From June 2017 to October 2018 I was a Software Development Engineer at Amazon in Seattle, WA, working in the buying space of the Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization.During my undergraduate studies, I interned for a year as a Data Engineer at the B2B intent data company Bombora.I completed my undergrad at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) in May of 2017 with dual majors in Computer Science and Discrete Mathematics / Operations Research. At UNR, I participated in competitive coding, served as the vice president and then president of the Association for Computing Machinery, served as the secretary of Tau Beta Pi, and earned a job as a grader for two classes.I am interested in working on large and complex problems using the tools of engineering, research, and data analysis.
