• Negotiating pricing for all print, paper & POS requirements for DM, Stores and catalogues

The role has the responsibility for the procurement and management of the delivery of marketing print, catalogues and POS requirements.

Five IT is a small IT company that provides PC Server Virtualisation solutions for SME’s to enable them to run their own in-house server systems. My role was to provide technical IT support to SME clients and to consult on the print industry, which was a market that Five IT were keen to enter. The role was varied and involved making client presentations.

The role had responsibility for the procurement, management and delivery of marketing print requirements for teams in both Edinburgh and Chester.

The post had responsibility for managing the repro and print requirements for parts of the catalogue which had a bi annual distribution in excess of 5 million. This role also required extensive European travel to supplier sites.

Procurement of print and stationery items for the whole of the Royal Insurance Group. This included the production and management of over to 2,000 printed stock items, direct marketing campaigns, security items (cheques & motor cover notes) and continuous stationery.
