Cumberland County Detention Center Expansion• 316 bed addition to existing Detention Center. This $14M project includes a maximum security segregation unit, being built by Metcon-Balfour Beatty, a joint venture including both construction and pre-construction services.Progress Energy Building Restack• 17 story restack project of the Progress Energy Building in downtown Raleigh. Current contract value is just under $20M. Project is targeting LEED Silver certification.Robeson County Department of Social Services Building • Led construction management team for a new $18M Social Services building. This LEED Silver project was completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities for these and other projects include:• Oversee and develop work statements, scope/priority definitions and the creation of budgets and schedules for projects ranging from medium scale government/institutional to large scale commercial upfits and high-rise restacks. • Maintain quality of project deliverables within defined and agreed upon program requirements. Balance program resources (people, budget, materials, time, ect.) to optimize stakeholders objectives.• Apply problem solving skills in the event of a deficiency, then ensure corrective action is taken to meet project budget and time constraints without compromising established quality goals.• Grew profit margin on a project from 10% in initial budget to almost 30% at project completion, while maintaining scheduled substantial completion date.

Robeson County Emergency Operations Center• Part of the construction management team for this new $5M facility. The project included an emergency operations command center for the County, offices for management and staff, the County’s 911 call center, and facilities for the County’s Drug Enforcement division.

NCDOC North Carolina Correctional Institute for Woman, Site Package 1A• Responsible for construction administration for the sitework package of the Healthcare Facility for the Department of Corrections. Represented the Designer and protected the interests of the Owner during the construction of this $50M project. Ran the monthly SCO meetings, reviewed and approved pay applications, and coordinated the Design Team’s RFI responses.Genetic Medicine Building, UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine• Responsibilities included construction administration for a $120M, 330,000 SF Lab building that includes 2 subterranean vivarium floors. Role in Construction Management included responsibility for daily site observation reports, weekly architectural and MEP 314 reports, contractors CPM schedule review and analysis, as well as weekly OAC meetings and monthly State construction meetings. During the final stages of this project, provided invaluable, accurate information to the client on contractor performance and scheduling.Responsibilities for these and other projects include:• Ensured processes and procedures were defined and implemented, reviewed all contract activities to verify compliance with customer quality standards and the contract documents.• Prepared and distributed project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders.

Payne Residence • Served as Project Superintendent for a $1.3M, Parade of Homes Silver Award Winning project. Duties included scheduling of trades and Quality Assurance/Quality Control reviews, managing of trades and payments to subcontractors. Provided punch list preparation and warranty assessment of 10 other residences concurrent with the construction of this project. Architectural design experience facilitated onsite resolution of design and construction issues.• Provided QA/QC, managed subcontractors, provided punch-list preparation and warranty work for several other residences during construction, and resolved design and construction issues as they arose.

T.R. Revels Funeral Home • Provided architectural and MEP design for this commercial facility addition. Also served as Construction Manager for the project, which included remodeling of existing facilities.The Lorreto Utica Center • Served as Construction Manager and assisted in cost estimating and bid package preparation for a $1M roof upgrade and repair. The project required coordination of construction while operations were ongoing.• Oversaw construction, purchasing, estimating and client service. Created construction schedules, scopes of work, QC, and design related resolutions.

Provided "As-Built" drawings for design phase projects. Worked with clients to gain access to facilities and accurately record the existing conditions. Created AutoCAD drawings and produced models and presentation boards.
