Pluris was a manufacturer of Terabit Network Routers. Raised $24 million in a second round. Grew the company from 10 to 145 people. Led design of optical backplane and 10G ASIC design. Systems were completed and underwent successful trials in WorldCom, Global Crossing, and Qwest.

Hired 165 people, designed and built the platform out of Sun server clusters, Java technology, with distributed storage, top-of-rack and aggregation switching, and dynamic process invocation.
