This role is a post-covid19 maternity backfill contract ending 12 July 2022.Systems supported include: SAP, SuccessFactors, Service Now, Page Up People and then a collection of smaller and in-house systems.Role is the interface between HR SME system users and the technical support teams in both local and global locations. Functionally performing needs analysis, change management, systems re-design and configuration to meet the changing and evolving KPMG environment. Very fast paced and constantly evolving as KPMG seeks to position itself in various markets.

EWPAA is a materials testing facility for the manufactured wood industry members in SEAsia. Consulting to the timber and building industries and advising government on policy and standards. Just the Australian segment exported over 4 Billion in 2019.• I joined the EWPAA in a contract role tasked with reverse engineering and SQL/ASP coding updates to their bespoke test lab database to meet changing business requirements. My role occurred as a result of the existing system writer leaving the business at short notice, so no handover. This role evolved into developing a business case for replacing the old bespoke system with a third-party cloud- based solution. I then project managed going out to the market, shortlisting and selecting the provider. This new system was ultimately implemented in 2020 with the immediate effect of improving business processes and allowing for business continuity both local in remotely.• My contract was extended to manage a range of business transformation projects, including stabilizing the existing IT infrastructure, managing the migration project for testing records system, accounting system, and a total migration of the IT environment to Office 365. To achieve these projects, I worked closely with operational staff, management and vendors/suppliers to select the most appropriate systems based on the business’ needs and strategic objectives.Key outcomes• Greatly reduced Business Risk• Improved software licensing compliance and currency• Outsourced IT Systems management• Outsourced website management• Outsourced core system to custom written system by a mainstream provider• Significant reduction in staff overheads and single points of failure

PanAust is a copper, silver and gold producing mining company with operations in Laos, Papua New Guinea, Myanmar and Chile.• Brisbane based and working in a senior capacity overseeing a range of business systems and frameworks relating to all HR and Risk within the organisation, including: • HRIS systems (primarily Aurion), • SAP and SuccessFactors integration, • OrgPlus organisational charting software and data analytics/reporting systems. • INX Risk management system• While my role was primarily based in Brisbane, I was also required to travel frequently to the organisation’s offshore operations in Laos to provide training and professional development to Lao National HRIS resources thus increasing their skills and capabilities.Key Outcomes• Stabilised usage and configuration of Aurion HRIS• Implementation of Recruitment module in HRIS• Stabilised INX platform, integrity of data, configuration and improved reporting• Rapid development of temporary interface between Aurion and SuccessFactors Rem & Benefits saving 3 weeks of manual collation in XLS down to 20mins to refresh the data.• Rapidly reworked same temporary interface when SAP was implemented

• Responsible for the day to day operations of a small team of systems support advisors assisting clients with issues and troubleshooting relating to the company’s Aurion HRIS system. I ensured that my team were providing customer-focused, reliable and accurate advice to our clients, in order to maintain positive relationships between Aurion and its customer base.• I also managed the Training and Technical Writing teams, providing direction and oversight into the way that the organisation trains and develops its staff, which led to targeted training relating to customer satisfaction and client service.Key Outcomes• As a direct result of my work, the team saw a significant (60%) increase in client survey results on the support team’s deliverables.

• Contracted to migrate Aurion HRIS system inhouse from a hosted 3rd party and develop the system inhouse to integrate with Great Plains Accounting Software and Active Directory/Sharepoint.• After the completion of this project, I was further contracted to developand implement a Learning Management System within the company for training/induction purposes, as well as create an induction regime utilising the Composica e-learning software.

This short-term contracting opportunity was to facilitate the transfer of the Ingeus’ Aurion HR systems to the a new purchaser as part of the sell-off of the Australian business, including all associated technology.

3 roles:• Initially working as a systems developer and contracts manager for the telecommunications division, responsible for managing contracts between the in-house microwave-based telecommunications division and various divisions of the company and other state-based entities; Police, Emergency Services, rail etc.• I then transferred into a new role with a focus on HR as a consultant to 400 engineers.I was able to utilise my new knowledge and skillset in HR practice within the organisation.• I then became involved in the selection and implementation for a replacement to the PeopleSoft HRIS.• I subsequently spent the remainder of my period playing a key role in the roll out and ongoing management of the Aurion system for Hydro Tasmania and various other associated improvement projects.• I also undertook a review and re-provision of the salary sacrifice delivery mechanism with a change of providers, which resulted in a 60% growth in utilisation of the service.

Southern Cross Telco, a telecommunications start-up at the peak of deregulation. I held various roles writing and developing the billing and customer service systems for the business using Microsoft Access. • The billing systems were incredibly effective, as they managed the billing feeds provided by Telstra/Hansens and turned them into a billable product. • This, in conjunction with the in-house customer service tool I wrote allowed the business to identify and track billing/service issues and provided customer service agents with the data and tools to adequately solve customer issues. • A major achievement in this role was developing such an effective system that it allowed the business to successfully litigate Telstra on their billing failures.
