Responsible for the central accounting and reporting functions of the Federal government, as well as operating and overseeing the central financial accounting and reporting systems.Provided Executive Leadership on several far reaching system modernization projects that greatly enhanced the financial management capability of the Federal government. Completed the Government-wide Accounting Modernization Project which provides real time financial data information for every Federal Account. Provided leadership that transformed every government-wide payment, collection, and intra-governmental transaction system to classify transactions to the correct Treasury account at the time of transaction as opposed to a lagging monthly classification process. This capability eliminated a multi-step account classification process for every Federal agency. Provided the leadership support to move the GTAS system from a concept to completion. This system consolidated four other reporting systems into a single system that applies the Standard General Ledger reporting discipline.

Responsible for all administrative functions and Chief Financial Officer responsibilities. Including Finance, Budget, Internal Controls, Human Resources, Procurement, EEO, Personal & Physical Security, and Facility Operations.
