David Reckner started his marketing research career on the cold hard marble of the Montgomeryville Mall recruiting respondents for Burke Marketing Research and then Suburban Marketing Research in the late 1970’s. After graduating Temple University in 1984, he went on the road with the Dead Milkmen and started a ten year career in the music business, managing the Dead Milkmen, Ben Vaughn, Pylon, and the record producer Ted Niceley (Fugazi, Noir Desir, Tripping Daisy, GVSB, Shudder to Think...) and promoting shows in Philadelphia with partner David Wildman (Fela Kuti, Motorhead, Sonic Youth, Dead Milkmen…). In 1991, David assisted his mother in purchasing the Philadelphia Area portion of Suburban Associates securing financing and setting up the administrative system. In 1994 David returned as a technical consultant, installing and supporting servers, routers, switches, personal computers and internet related services. By 1999 David returned full time to write and support work flow applications eventually becoming Director of Technology. In 2011, David became President of J. Reckner Associates, Inc.David is passionate about bringing out the best in people.
