Utilized an Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) and the Command Post of the Future (CPoF), used in conjunction with a target production map and other sources to produce targets. Plans and synchronizes effects resulting from the application of fire support including indirect fires, joint fires, and offensive IO. Established target priorities, developed high priority targets, provided targeting guidance, and developed a fires operation plan/ operations order. Advised and recommended the employment of fire support assets to include Navel gunfire and CAS. Responsible for taking all target acquisitions produced by the radar and conducting counter fire missions based off of my analysis.

Served as a Company Forward Observer for a M2A3 Bradley-Equipped, Mechanized Infantry Company. Assist in the planning and execution of fires and advised on fire support capabilities and limitations. Responsible for effects based operations. Ran a Company Intelligence Support Team (CoIST). I was responsible for collecting all SIGNET and HUMINT Intelligence. Analyze this intelligence and conduct daily intelligence briefings. I maintained and operated the Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) and Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (HIIDE) used for targeting and detainee processing.

Responsible for the integration and execution of conventional and laser guided munitions in support of a Heavy Armor Brigade. Assigned as a Radio Telephone Operator (RTO). Maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting different communication devices such as the AN/PRC 119, AN/PRC 117, and the AN/PRC 112. Other responsibilities as a fire support sergeant as a forward observer (FO). As an FO I was responsible for managing and conducting all Artillery, Mortar, and close air support (CAS) missions. Training fire support personnel on the capabilities and limitations of all indirect fire assets.
