Clearwater’s Head of Operations David Huggins has immeasurable experience within the maritime security sector. David has managed complex security programs in support of oil and gas projects within East Africa, Additionally, he has overseen numerous armed and un-armed transits on vessels carrying valuable cargo within the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Aden High-Risk Areas.David’s first-hand maritime security knowledge enables him to support Clearwater clients including shipping companies, their Masters as well as the maritime security and insurancecompanies. David has supported the management of the Clearwater system for 10 years and continues to assist in the rapidly expanding Clearwater Intelligence department. Key roles currently undertaken within the 24hr operations centre include the oversight of master briefs, intelligencereport writing, management of Operation Officers and general operational support.A motivated, responsible and enthusiastic person, who is quick to learn and keen to develop and become an outstanding asset. Is thorough in his approach ensuring high standards of workmanship are maintained.
