Was lead software engineer for a strategic spinout of Black & Veatch, Atonix which successfully sold to Prometheus Group in 2023.* Architected the Service Template .NET library to establish a unified core for CQRS, Observability, and core abstractions, facilitating consistent implementation across all microservices.* Angular - .NET - Azure DevOps: Spearheaded the transformation of the Atonix Digital front end, transitioning from a legacy AngularJS framework to the latest Angular. Established a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline using Azure DevOps.* Implemented visual regression testing, linting, and unit tests.

* Pytorch - Flask - Pytorch Serve - Postgresql - Twilio - AWS ECS : Successfully fine-tuned DistilBERT, a large language model, to accurately classify city 311 calls, resulting in improved routing efficiency and service responsiveness. Conducted comprehensive benchmark tests, demonstrating that our solution outperformed IBM’s Watson AI and all other commercial products available at the time.

Started working there when it was a small startup. Successful exit to Underwriters Laboratories (UL). We took the core National Renewable Energy Laboratory algorithms for microgrid design, modernized them, and made the core decisions available through a Python / Matlab SDK so that researchers at ABB, Siemens, US Navy, and UL could interface with them. Also made an easy to use web or desktop interface using the same core code base.
