At Dreamer Technologies I developed and tested all necessary code for an ESP-32 based embedded system running FreeRTOS and a simple AVR ATTINY microcontroller daughterboard, connected via UART, and developed the webserver and REST API hosted on the ESP-32 to control the battery-powered consumer hardware product remotely.

Implementing a GPS module into a working Single Axis Solar Tracking System.

Fall quarter of my Sophomore year I was accepted into Cal Poly’s CubeSat program. This program designs, builds, and launches cube satellites for private companies and research institutions. I worked with senior members of the team to develop software to interface between off-the-shelf hardware components and custom made control boards.

I worked with other student engineers to integrate Python scripts to create a stable testing platform for a computer vision algorithm.

I was personally responsible for overseeing the organization and planning of meetings, robot construction, computer aided design, team relations, and outreach.

Planning and organizing an event for elementary school robotics students. I was responsible for contacting local teams, advertising, building interest in the event, and creating a sign-in system for teams.

My responsibilities included attending local robotics events and working with other judges to rank the teamwork of different elementary level robotics teams.

This was a summer position that lasted for 10 continuous days in the summers of 2010, 2011, and 2012. My duties included filling rotating machines with clay pigeons, breaking down boxes, and maintaining a clean workstation in dirty conditions.
