Prior to founding OG, David was a Founder and Principal of Rock Apartment Advisors (2002), Select My Space (2007), The Oakley Group, Inc. (2007) and Blue Canoe Properties (2009). David served as Senior Managing Director for Berkadia from 2011 to 2020 leading investment transactions throughout the Southeastern United States. After a 20-year career in multifamily brokerage and $6B+ worth of trade volume, he has shifted his full-time focus to new construction development and acquisitions of existing multifamily communities at OG. David graduated magna cum laude from Samford University’s Brock School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting.
