I believe leadership is defined by 3 or 4 seconds. It's in these brief moments when we choose to respond vs react, empathize vs self preserve, and advocate vs isolate. I lead a team that explores leadership through the human experience and works to provide accessible, sustainable and creative educational opportunities to help leaders better connect with themselves, their teams, and the organization's purpose through immersive learning experiences. When given the opportunity to do something perfect or different, I will always choose different. Perfection limits growth and destroys creativity. When you establish a clear understanding of where (and who) you are and an agreed upon vision of where the team and organization wants to be, you provide the appropriate anchors for people to explore possibility. The human experience is about the opportunity for self discovery, growth, belonging and contribution.
