With over 17 years of experience in various energy and chemical technologies, David is a seasoned inventor with over 50 patents to his name.David's career highlights include being the Project Manager of Bechtel Manufacturing & Technology's first pre-feasibility study. Here, he pioneered a novel approach to execution that eliminated silos between the customer and engineering services provider, increasing communication and delivering significant efficiency improvements.Since 2018, he has been a part of Bechtel Energy's Innovation function, leading the development of a new integrated design and estimating platform (Bechtel !ntelligent Design) while consulting on the Water Business Line's Low Energy Ejector Desalination System (LEEDS) technology, for which he is also a co-inventor.Previously, David worked as a Mechanical Estimator on a major refinery project in Asia. He was also one of the first employees of Bechtel Energy Technologies & Solutions, where he joined with the acquisition of the ThruPlus® delayed coking technology. Here, he managed a study for a first-of-a-kind commodity import terminal based on a novel technology (Refrigerated Pressure Vessels). Additionally, he managed a study for an Acrylic Acid & derivatives complex and authored a monograph on the economics of monetizing natural gas.
