Hello, I'm David Robertson.I'm an IT and Training specialist, and a published photographer.1) IT and Training:I have over 20 years experience working on IT at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) designing, delivering, developing and training staff on the IT systems. Predominantly working on MS Windows and the Office suite, this has obviously changed a great deal since the days of Windows 3.1! The EICC is Edinburgh's premier Conference facility, with our Lennox suite being capable of holding up to 2000 people.2) Photography:I have been a sports photographer since 2012 photographing many sports including Australian rules football, American football, baseball, mountain biking, football, hockey and roller derby.This has included being one of the game day photographers for the Edinburgh Wolves American football teams since 2012. I have photographed home and away matches and worked with the teams to produce images to promote the teams on their website, banners and programmes.I have attained accreditation to photograph at Scotland v USA hockey and the EuroHockey Glasgow 2019 event.I have also attained accreditation to photograph at Hibernian Women and Spartans FC Women's matches.I use Canon equipment (1Dx Mark II and 5D Mark IV) and am proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Photo Mechanic to edit and enhance my work. I am constantly working on updating my skills both behind the camera, and in front of the monitor.
