My main task is to promote and support the DevOps culture and practices among channel development teams.I lead the DevOps Adoption team. We provide the tools that enable developers to work faster, better and in a reliable way. We also advise them on how to improve workflows, life-cycles and deployments. We also collaborate with software architects to automate testing,and integrate it in the development life-cycle.We manage the whole process, from branch creation to application deployment, through automatic procedures, configuration management and infrastructure as code (IaC). All our development infrastructure is located in Amazon Web Services, where we have an extensive elastic infrastructure completely automated to meet the demand.

In this position had two main responsibilities. On one side, I was head of the internal IT team. On the other, I managed the projects for external clients based on cloud infrastructure.For the inside part of the role, I managed a small team responsible of keeping the company systems up and running. We had a few hundred computer network, both in-house and remote. Enterprise printing, security, access and resource sharing where the main task for the network. We achieved both ISO9001 and ISO27001 certifications. The consultant side of the role was mainly for banking and energy industries. We designed and implemented cloud infrastructure for continuous delivery and developer support tools for several clients. We used public clouds (GAE and AWS), and integrated in several ways with the client's core systems. Automation, elasticity and resiliency where key to effectively managing big projects.
